How this website collects, uses and protects your personal information. Last updated: 31 October 2026.
This website is the personal website of Edwin K. Bamfo (“Edwin”, “we”, “us”, “our”), an author, pastor, speaker and environmental leader based in Ghana. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For any privacy question or request, contact us at bamfockedwin@gmail.com.
We handle personal information in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and recognised good practice for websites that receive visitors from other countries.
We only collect information that you choose to give us, or that is needed for the website to work properly.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not include it in messages to us.
We use your information because you have given consent (for example, when subscribing), because it is needed to respond to a request you have made, or because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting the website. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
If you subscribe, we will email you selected reflections, insights, resources and updates about Edwin’s work and events. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time by emailing bamfockedwin@gmail.com.

This website uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed for it to work and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics that show how pages are used in aggregate. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Some pages include content from other services, such as YouTube videos. To protect your privacy, YouTube videos are loaded only when you choose to play them, and they use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Once loaded, those services may collect information under their own privacy policies. Links to social media and other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We keep enquiry and contact information for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting engagement, and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. We then delete or anonymise information we no longer need.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including secure (HTTPS) connections, access limited to people who need it and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you share.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
